Thamesmead’s seven kilometre network of picturesque canals is connected via a series of underpasses. This project was commissioned by Peabody as a part of its wider cultural programme to bring art to these passages.
Thamesmead has some of the largest green and blue spaces in London, and these two murals feature the local wildlife and inhabitants to land and water. It is an ode to its original residents, and a celebration of the regeneration project that continues to allow biodiversity to thrive.
